Hagg Lake

I was looking at the Regs the other day and noticed that Hagg Lakes opens on the 1st of march. So just a few more weeks here! I was wondering when do they do their derby out there? I didnt think it was ever on opening weekend. However, i could be wrong.

Last year it was on opening weekend, I haven't seen anything for this year yet.

Just FYI.........I work at the lake during the summer and talked to the guy in charge of parks that works at the Lake and was told they are not having the derby this year. If you year different let me know. Thanks..

Checked the Bi-Mart web site and there is nothing there. They have sponsored the event in the past.

Called Bimart and KUIK radio, who sponsered in 2007. Was told by KUIK that Bi-Mart wasnt doing it this year and they planned on doing it in May when fishing will be better. Tentative for May 10th ,but that they would start advertising soon..

The fishing derby will be on Saturday May 10th. KUIK will stock more fish, I just have not got the numbers on how many as of yet.
