My GPS is an ancient 1995 Magellan. I need a new one. The Garmin GPSMAP 440 looks good, has the charts already in it so you dont have to buy the CD Rom, and it is color. I tried one out at West Marine. It was very user friendly. West Marine wanted $600 but I found them on line for as little as $441. Its in my price range and has a bigger screen then the handhelds.
Anybody have any experience with one?
