i just got a NR ladder for my B-day. it folds up onto the swim step. looks very industrial. not what you are referring but you might find it interesting.

Yes and it works good. A telescoping 3-step ladder that North River sells. It clips up and holds good. It gets my 6'3" 250 body out of the water just fine.
