heads up, cheap rods on clearance

I know there are many who look down on cheap rods... fine. but for those of you who are looking for CHEAP rods...

The Walmart in Woodburn had a clearance barrel out... I picked up 4 8wt 9' Scientific Anglers rods for $11 each. Cheap enough I can not worry about keeping them behind the seat for a utility rod. I called my FIL and he picked up 2 Scientific Anglers 5-6wt 7.5' rods at the Longview store.... point is... looks like Wallyword is selling off all Scientific Anglers fly rods... if you're willing to pay $11 for one, check your closest Waltart...

I'm bummed. I made a special trip to Woodburn to check out the barrel. There was nothing in there under $30.00.

Word must have got out.

I always buy cheap rods. I too found the barrel had been picked over pretty well by 6 P.M. Good deals never last for long. Thanks anyway.
