Do you guys know where a guy could purchase some cheap vinyl flooring for his boat? I looked in the Bass Pro Shops catalog last night and it seemed a little steep. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would try some flooring suppliers or installers and see what they have available in the way of remnants.
Can probably be picked up pretty cheap. However, you may be limited on colors or designs.
Good luck.

If your talking the vinyl that you would have in a kitchen or bathroom, pm me with your email address and I can send you the names of a few installation shops that might have remnants. If your talking the thin vinyl that I have in my Thunder Jet thats glued over the wood floor.......I wouldn't have a clue!

Search for boat vinyl flooring. I ordered some last year, forget from who but it was the nautolux.

I just got some of the rubber textured vinyl from Stevens Marine in Milwaukie that they use in Alumawelds. 54" wide, I bought 3 yards (9 feet for you math challenged :excited:) for around $45. Project came out nice. I used outdoor carpet adhesive (in a warm room) applied with a notched trowel. Gave extra hold on the backside with stainless staples.

Thanks guys. I was looking for the vinyl flooring that you typically see in new Alumawelds or other manufactures.
It will be cheaper from the Upholstery places. Do a search for Nautolex marine vinyl. One place has it for 24.50 a yard shipped, 3 yard minimum. I didn't look long, but that is near 1/3 the price of Bass Pro.

In case anyone up north is also looking. Rex Peg Fabrics is the company that supplies all of the local builders with marine carpet and flooring. They carry Nautolex vinyl flooring and often have end pieces and left overs available. Its been a while, but I think I paid about $20 a yard for Deco Dot.

I saw large rolls of gray rubber/vinyl flooring (looked like gray diamond plate) for the garage at costco in Hillsboro. I don't remember the exact demensions but it was big enough to cut out a 1 piece flooring for my boat, and probably even larger boats
