I would be working on another rod, but I don't have my blanks and parts.....YET :D

what's up kurt ! have patience . soon as i get them i'll give you a shout (thurs fri) and get them right out. this will give you time to think about your colors. don't have a whole lot of time in that rod, maybe 10-12 hrs so far and i have just the last 9 guides and finish left. helps when you glue up 3-4 butt sections at a time. do you not have any pacbays left? i have 3 built i need to sell so i can buy more parts.man, this rod building gets addictive. later dude..............

Nope, no more "practice"(Pac Bay) blanks left :noway: I plan on building all the butt sections on the next rods at one time, then let the fun begin :D I still need to order my Madeira thread and a few other things before this next build.

You're tellin' me, Dad just called and asked if we "needed" another 80# rod for the arsenal....may be building a few more before June :passout:
