Yaquina skunk

Twice as many people as I normally see were fishing the Yaquina yesterday, and nobody was doing anything. Saw one fish caught. I've caught two chinook and one wild coho in the last three trips on very small tide changes with herrring, usually right around slack tide, but yesterday was dead.
Any reports from the Siletz, Nestucca, Alsea, or Salmon?

Fished the Yaquina below the airport marker 31 on Friday for couple of hours, nobody was doing any good images/icons/confused.gif Pulled out and headed to the Nahalem where weather conditions worsened and the fishing didn't get much better. On Saturday we stayed on the Nahalem and nobody (not even guides) were doing worth a *hit. Thinking of heading back to the Yaquina tomarrow and hope that things improve images/icons/tongue.gif

Sorry to hear about the poor fishing results. I just hope the fishing improves by the next weekend. This really puzzles me, thought this weekend would have been dynamite.
