My boys want to flyfish ,and I`am a little rusty ,and I feel that I may teach them the unwanted bad habbits I some times do ,I will go about any where ,I know of one place in the Oyimpia area ,I have been to the shop in Zig Zag ,not my cup of tea ,I live in Molalla .......... any input would be great

I second making a trip to River City...Don and the guys are very friendly and will hook you up. They are located on Scholls Ferry in Beaverton.....about 1 mile west of 217.

They are great guy's and good teachers

There is youth education opprotunities and a full slate of educational classes for everyone. The Expo 2008 is March 7&8 in Albany, Oregon just a few miles down the road. Free parking, casting tournament, 60 class offerings, two casting ponds, 205 tyers showing their skills and the list goes on. Saturday night is the banquet and live auction which is always fun.

The Clackamas River chapter of Trout Unlimited has a school during the summer to teach kids how to flyfish. They campout and learn about fishing, fly tying, aquatic bugs, its a great time for kids and dads.:)
