Fished the Siletz for two days. Oakie Drifter borrowed from my tacklebox the "HOT LURE" for the Siletz. She hooked into a nook, but the nook got caught into a snag. She lost that fish, with a "******'S SPECIAL" lure. By the way, the second day the river coughed up seven K-16 Kwikfish floating on the river. That was my catch of the day! Here is a picture of that lure.

It's OK. I hired Osama Bin NoNana to take out ALL the banana trees. He accepted, but told me the position would have to be very temporary. He said something about going on a long voyage real soon. LOL.

Sorry I missed you. I guess when the people that normally fish the river catch one or two a week it easy to seem like a legend on the river at the fish cleaning table every day. He was feeding that same legend **** to my clients yesterday. He was saying man your going with Scott, oh you guys will be back early with your limit. I don't think he has ever fished this river with out limitting out. Well if that isn't setting the bar a little to high in the morning images/icons/shocked.gif . Well fortunatly he was right again images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif .
As for meeting a legend. Well next time you are down this way I will sell you an autograph or something( I will sign it in fish blood or egg goo) Or better yet I will let you stand in the background of our fish picture so you can tell all your friends SEE THAT ME RIGHT THERE. images/icons/tongue.gif images/icons/rolleyes.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Scott,
You ain't no legend. images/icons/grin.gif Maybe your dad is. LOL. One of my very favorite memories Scott was banging about a 40 pound Springer in front of you and your clients one day on the Trask a few years back. I heard "the what is he doing, what is he using" sweat break across your brow! images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif Just kidding you big guy, but true story in my 15 minutes as a legend too. Tell your old man hello. Did he give it up? images/icons/grin.gif

Wow A 40# springer images/icons/shocked.gif , I need to use your scale. I have never seen a 40# springer on the coast. I must have missed yours if it was infront of me. They always say fish grow out of the water faster than in. I never used the word legend. But, if your favorite memorie was the one day you caught one infront of me that says legend images/icons/wink.gif . I am sure what you heard me saying to my client was that even a blind squirl can find his nuts every now and then. images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif
My dads still around and fishing every day. We just don't fish Tillamook in the fall any more its just too crowded. If you want email me and I will pass it on to him.
