After all the storms and high water, its about time we were able to get back on the rivers. Here are a few pics from this last weakend, including a 20.5 lb whopper of a broodstock fish. For me there have been very few natives in the mix, the hatchery fish have all been brooders with no Alsea stock caught. All fish were taken sidedrifting bait and yarn. We already need some rain again.
Here is Roberts 20.5 # broodstocker, the digital scale said twenty and a half, the measurments said 39" length x 20.5" girth...a prime specimen... chrome, well proportioned with no seal bites or scratch marks. Now, who's not for the broodstock program ?
