I was wondering what type of lines you guys are using for steelhead. I have a 7wt 10 xp that I have aways used for Salmon in AK. looking to get into the steelhead game here.

I do have a 8wt rio versa tip that I love for salmon and it matches well with the xp. Wondering if you use mostly floating or sink tips?

It depends on whether you are fishing summer or winter steelhead, the water conditions and whether you are swinging, nymphing or fishing a dry.
