View Full Version : Looking for people to fish with!
I just moved here a few months ago and would like to find someone to fish with on a regular basis. I mainly bank fish the Sandy but have gone out to the coast and I am willing to go anywhere to fish. My only other fishing partner doesn't fish very often and I on the other hand am out there all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Jwic how often are you up there and where on the river do you fish. I am usually off work by 10:30 every morning and a quick run up to the river never hurt anyone.
rainrshine- I live in Gresham so I actually get out to often. Lately I have been heading up to the Pipeline hole, Tippy canoe and Cedar Creek. While I don't really mind going by myself it would be nice to know other people that were willing to fish as much as I do. Don't know to many people as I just moved out here from the east coast.

You might consider coming to a Sandy River Chapter of the Northwest Steelheaders meeting. There are alot of people who fish the Sandy on a regular basis in this group. We meet the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 at Glen Otto Park next to the Sandy in Troutdale.
Besides the number of anglers who fish the Sandy, there are a number of fish-alongs on other Oregon waters as well.
Let me know if you are interested or just come to the meeting.
