I knew there were huge "bucket mouth" browns out there to catch....what a pig!

The upper Deschutes has browns in holes that would scare the fins off
of divers who went down looking for salvage. They are very hard to catch.

i second the upper D! i have landed a few in the 20-24 inch range but have seen some alot bigger! fish right before dark with crawdady patterns tight to cover! always thought of throwing a mouse but never have

It's a very long sting leech, known as the blue stringer. It doubles up as a fly and you can keep your days catch secure from lose.
