There isn't going to be many Steelhead on the SF this spring! Just giving everyone a heads up! In 05 the Nez Perce tribe lost most all the smolts for this group and the 09 group. looks to be like just under 1,000 adults retuning.....:D

Do you have a link to the info about this? How many smolts actually got released?

The Nez Perce Tribe does not have a website.... They told us guides and Idaho fish and game that they lost 2.7 million smolt due to a spring flood. Clogged the intake and the raceways ran out of water...... Dworshak is fine, Clear Cr is fine, just the SF. Could see reduced runs into 2009-2010 runs on the SF.
