NOT.......according to my wife :bricks: Well Steven(Rooster1264) got me interested in rod building again :hoboy: The fact that I can custom build any rod to fit me and my specifications is worth my time, not to mention less expensive than a high end factory rod(Calstar/Seeker) :yay:

Here is my first complete build in 20 years. A 40# Pac Bay composite blank(similar to a Calstar Grafighter), Alps guides, HD Fuji seat, slick butt and EVA foregrip.

I will post some better pics. when I can take it outside for better lighting.

Here are some of the basic diamond wrap.

Guide wrap. Black base wrap with a rainbow inlay. First foot wrap is metalic silver, second is black with a rainbow inlay. Oh no, not triple wrapped :passout::jester:

It has been fun and I have a twin to this one that only needs a butt wrap  BTW, this blank and components cost me about $10 more than the famed Ugly Stick :D Definitely not flawless by any means, good thing I have four more blanks on the way :smirk:

Kurt you should have put this in the new forum - looks real good. The silver black combination in the back which way did you do that?

Ted, didn't even know about it :bricks: I thought is was still a  Thanks for the "heads up" and compliment.

Maybe one of the Mods. can move it for me

The silver is the first wrap over the guide feet, just left some showing when wrapping the second wrap(black w/inlay).

Four more on the way.... it's just as addicting as tuna fishing....

Looks great even though it isn't triple wrapped!

Depends on YOUR definition of triple wrap  Base wrap with two wraps over guides is what I call a triple wrap  Don't see a need for three wraps over guides on any rod I am gonna build.

Yep I was making a funny because of your above note that you did not triplewrap this rod....

I do the same as you single under and double over... I call it double wrapped.....

Well it depends on what is is...... He did not have relations with that women.... :jester:
