I will get pictures tomorrow and post them.
I am selling my 2006 5.9L Cummins, 3500, Laramie, Quad Cab, long box truck, 4 X 4 with 6 speed manaul trans. It has pretty much all the options. Leather, sport package, tow package, Sirus radio, cd, crome steps, heated seats, dual power seats, class IV hitch receiver, 7 pin wiring harness, infinity premium sound, factory fog lights, steering wheel mounted radio controls, and more.
It is just broke in with 53K miles, I put an Air raid air filter, straight pipe exhaust (still have the factory if you want it quiet) 2" levelling kit, and 315/75/17 (about 35") BFG TO KO tires. I also had a Rhino Liner bed liner sprayed in when it was new. It is white in color with grey carpet and grey leather. I use it as my daily driver for work, and It has had regular oil changes. It tows my boat about 4 or 5 times per year, and occassionally tows a utility trailer. It has not been abused. The BFG tires have about 15K on them.
This truck has an original MSRP of $46,245.00 plus the extras I added.
I am asking $32K.

Here is a couple of pics I took with my cell phone.... It is dark and gloomy out today, but you can see it is a clean looking truck.

You interested in partial trade for a 2nd gen Dodge Diesel?
Don't know what second generation means? What year, what size, what color, is it 4X4, how many miles etc. and how much would you want for it.... I would consider taking it, but I will just sell it.
I bought a 2008 to replace this one back in Dec., so I really don't need another. It is a business deduction, and I could not sell or trade this one in until after January for tax reasons.
Give me a call if you want to talk (503)991-0439 Thanks, John

2nd gen refers to the body style previous to yours, i.e. 94-02. Mine is a white '96 2500 Club Cab Long box 4x4. 12V cummins with 5-speed and several thousand dollars in engine/drivetrain mods. 160K on the ticker, lots of extras. Lift, tires, wheels, protech accesories and the such. Values out at about 15K.
I put up a pic in my gallery to give you a better idea...

Nice looking truck.... not sure about the value though.... I just did a quick search from 1994 to 1997 and came up with several from $8,000.00 to 12,000.00. There was only one over $12K one owner Laramie with 120K miles for $15,995.00 or something like that....
Kelly blue book average private party for good condition is $8-9K depending on equiment I was not sure if it was cloth or leather, I added tow because I can see it is hooked up to a trailer, and I added wheels and running boards.....
If you are interested you can look at mine and we can talk, but I will not likely be thinking $15K on yours. Assuming it has a clear title and you are the original owner, I would probably be thinking 10-12K... Not trying to insult your nice truck, just looking at the numbers and giving you moore than book because of it's condition. If I missed something in the book or you can show me how it values for $15K I am more than willing to talk.
Mine is 10 years newer and loaded....I priced mine below what I saw them for on the interenet... The dealer told me the 5.9 is in demand, because the 6.7 (2008) can't be tweaked, and they have had some bad publicity....like when ford cam out with their new one a couple of years ago.....The dealer told me to ask $35K for mine, but I thought 32K was fair and less than the 34K -37K I saw most on the net for.....
For anyone looking: I will consider part trade for about anything, but the value must be something I can easily sell it for. I will not give retail for a boat that will take 6 months to sell, I have sold to many boats and I know they don't always sell immediately... Same holds true for a vehicle in trade, if it is easily sold for the value you want I will consider it.

Always worth a try. I'm not even in the market for a new truck, but yours is a pretty good deal (other than slightly high mileage vs age of vehicle. It is also exactly the truck I would be looking for if I was in the market. Can't blame a guy for trying?!
Good luck selling!

Thanks Allan, I put on Craigslist yesterday, and I will probably get it in the Truck Trader next week, I thought someone here might want a good tow rig...... If it wasn't for Uncle Sam, I would not be getting rid of it..... It is barely broke in....

Sweet truck! Surprised it hasn't sold yet. This is a great deal guys! This truck probably gets 20mpg highway and great mileage pulling. The last of the good 5.9 cummins!

not quite 20.... Maybe on the highway. I have larger tires, and I don't abuse my truck at all, but I don't always drive for maximum fuel efficiency, so I get 15 pretty steady running around town, and 18+ on the highway.....
I am not sure, but most Dodge truck owners I meet seem like fisherman with stories; they get 25 MPG, while I only get 15....:)
Compared to my friends V-10, or a big 460 or 454 one ton truck.... 15 is pretty good. Hell it is better than my friends toyota!

I hear you on the gas mileage! All my buddies claim they get 25 mpg too. I put the factory tires on for a trip to Idaho in my 06' Megacab diesel (on cruise at 70 mph for hours on end) and got 21 mpg, but with my 35 inch Toyo open country's, I get 17 mpg max. Amazing what heavy tires and wheels will do for the fuel economy. Good luck with your sale.

:jester: I thought I was the only one..... Glad to hear.
In the beginning I thought I had a lemon, because I couldn't get what everyone else was getting. When I asked how many miles per tank of fuel it was glaringly obvious they do not know how to do math.....
It simply did not add up....@ 25 MPG they shouldbe getting nearly 800 miles out of 30 gallons, yet they were only getting 500 +/-....
When I went to Texas I took my 18 year old daughter to help drive.... While I was sleeping I told her not to go over 60...... The fuel economy was over 20...

I get about 18.5-20.7 mpg with my 06. Have 315 bfgs on it and usually set the cruise. I have the six speed. It makes a small ammount of difference between mine and a buddy's mega cab with the auto. My fuel milage didn't come in till around 10-12 thousand miles. Talked to the mechanic at the shop and he agreed with the dodge literature that they usually reach optimum break in wear around 10 thousand miles. Have 25k on mine now. I love it. Fill the toyhauler with quads, gas, water, food and head to the dunes. The package weighs about 11,000 pounda and I get around 11.5 mpg average hauling it to coos bay or Florence. Running 65 down the freeway. Good luck with your sale. I love my Dodge!:valentine:

No doubt the fuel economy suffers a bit turning the taller tires, but don't forget you actually travel more miles on a tankful than the odometer or mileage computer shows.
Too bad you have to sell this great truck! I have about the same miles on mine and have had no major problems.

I had my computer calibrated for the tires. Dealer insisted, or wanted to pro rate my warranty. More miles on the rig versus what shows on the odometer... No biggie tho. 45 bucks to do it and got a free oil change out of the deal...
