Upper T-Bay skunk

Fished the upper bay to no avail from 7 am 'till 12:30 ...only my second time up there and first at low slack ...boy , does it get shallow in there or what ?!? saw some nets fly at the picket fence at first light and a spurt or two of netting from there to the oyster hole ....great day to be out there though !!! did they get outside today ?

swampy, no one got out over the bar today. near as I could tell, 12 foot seas with 4 foot wind chop or something to that level. We fished near the coast gard station in the jaws all morning, saw one fish netted otherwise we all waisted a lot of gas. Maybe next weekend!!!

Was hoping to get over the bar at first light but noooooo, not happening today. The coast guard was at the mouth keeping boats away and there were breakers just outside, all the way across both jetty's images/icons/frown.gif

Fished the ghost hole, coast guard station, and bay city...zero...zip.....nada.

I did see Pilar pass us with his female guest reeling like crazy, was that a fish Pilar images/icons/wink.gif

I had one customer come back and tell me they had one on but lost it and that they saw at least 4 fish caught out there.

Ever since last weekend when we had that rain storm come in, fishing got good for a couple of days,,,and ever since, it has gone down hill.

What we need is another good RAIN.

But you all ready know that!

Was very slow today at my bait shop.

Lots of people gearing up for winter steelhead fishing.

Stocking up on "Marie's Shrimp Scents"

And praying for some rain.
