Guys & Gals, I have a hard fought fishing pass for next weekend. I've been skunked by the Coho on the Clack recently. Any reports on Fall Chinook on the Wilson yet? Are they still in the Tbay?
Thanks,
Dave

I haven't heard of any Fall Chinook yet but there are fresh steelies in the lower end. I got into five on jigs last Friday.

Mark, thanks for the reply. Let me guess, did you catch them on a First Cast Jig??? Perhaps pink/white tipped with a bubblegum worm? Were you below the Guide Shop?
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, the first four fish were caught on my beaded pink/white jig tipped with a sand shrimp tail. The last fish was caught using a black jig with a shrimp tail. E-mail me if you want more info.

I was eyeballing that water on the way back from Tillamook yesterday. It looked like there were still places that were low enough (dry) to not able fish to pass yet. Need more rain unless the fish get legs. images/icons/grin.gif
