Because the owners of the boats need a larger write-off. Don't brush the thought off, as the majority of the licenses owned right now (if not the ships as well) are owned by people looking for nothing more than a write-off.

I do recall an attorney that used to post here who had money in the boats. Kinda makes me sick to think that is why they are being caught, so that Joe Bankroller can make sure he doesn't get taxed fairly next April.

Sorry, I have no patience for that crap. Ask me someday why Paul Allen owns the Blazers and how they somehow can't get the "chemistry" together to go all the way.
