Insulation wanted

I am insulating the shop it is 36x36 16" center 2x6 studs. Looking for insulation that is in good shape. R19 or higher.

You'll pay as much or more for insulation at Home Depot as you will having an insulation company install it for you! I should know because I work for my families insulation company in Vancouver.

This is so true.... As a contractor, I cannot buy insulation as cheap as I can hire it done.

The only advice I can give you for free insulatioin is contact the local heating companies in your area. They get odd sizes and scrap pieces that they take off of their duct work. They usually put it in big funrance boxes and many times they will give it away..... it willnot be easy to fill your wals with rndom pieces, but if you don't count your labor it is cheap.....

I just got a bid to do a 30 X 32 Shop with 12' high walls and blow in attic insualtion for around $1200.00 complete. Drop me a PM if you need a phone number of my sub contractor....
