What we are doing now has the Taliban off gaurd. They want us to come in and bomb them so they can justify their holy war. They don't know how to act when they are being stalked. We need to see some heavy duty bombing over there but the Afghani's themselves are not who we want to get. The Taliban are a bunch of cowards hiding among women and children. When we strike it will be when we have all of our ducks in a row and when we do look out bin Ladin. THIS BOMB'S FOR YOU>

Liprip - Very good point. I agree that they're just itching for a reason to declare holy war.

I think that we need to get our best Public Relations and advertising people to put together an "Americans are the good guys" campaign and let that part of the world have a taste of American advertising. Of course we'd have to feed and cloth a few million people, but what the heck, look at the Super Bowl advertising budget, we can afford it. We just can't do it on TV.

Remember what happened to the Russians. Afghanistan was their personal **** like Vietnam was for the US.

This is what we have to look forward to when we send ground troops in there to find the ******** and string them up.

Hopefully we can have a little more public support than Vietnam and some clear goals. Otherwise we'll just become the latest on a long list of conquerers who bounced off countries that end in 'stan.
