The bay kicked out a number of fish. I fish with guide Jim Amick and our boat got two. Several boats got two or at least one. Once the incomming tide was in the bite died.

Some certainly had better luck than others, thats awsome.
A boat of four people here, and didnt catch squatola but a big nate coho. Saw some nets up once in a while, but not as many as I expected I guess.
Looked like the bite was from about 7 to 10 or 10:30 or so (south jetty).
***holes and elbows to the maximum degree.

We fought the Los Angeles traffic today from near sunrise to around 3pm at the oyster house.
My bad luck has changed... images/icons/grin.gif
I took a couple of friends from work out and one pulled in an 8lb silver then later I pulled in a 24lb king.
Man that was FUN. images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif
Poles flying, people running, net waving, whew.
As I'm pulling in the monster images/icons/rolleyes.gif , I let go of the tiller expecting one of my friends to take over the boat. Nottttt.
Oh, by the way, BRING ALONG A PEN. We had to pull out of traffic and go get one from the truck.
Oh ya, besides our two, there was maybe ten other nets in the air that I remember. Just hours of bumper boats.
