I have some time off in October and was wanting to fish either Tillamook Bay or Nehalem. What would my brother (and sister) Oregon fisherman recommed? I fish a sled and would like to target some nice kings. Thanks in advance for any help. Also, is there a RV place to park my camper close to a launch or marina? There is no better sound that a reel screamin! images/icons/tongue.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Hi Screaminreelron,
I just got back from Nahalem bay today. Went out in the morning to do some crabbing and fishing. Well the crabbing was great and the fishing was not so. I did see some fish roll and that was about it.
There is a campground that also has yurts. It's a pretty nice plave to stay and it has a Boat ramp also. Good luck.

The Brighton Marina, has a campground for RV's. Elec, and water, plus a ramp and moorage. Just a short run out to the mouth for the nooks and crabbing is available everywhere.
Telephone no. is 503-368-5745
$17.00 per day
moorage is $5.00 a day
no launch fee if you moor there
Get your bait from Tillmook Bait on Wilson River Loop Rd. They have a add on the ifish site and you can email them to reserve some bait. Good Luck, Cagey. images/icons/grin.gif
