View Full Version : Crawfish in Washington Help. Need help today
I am looking for a good place nearby to catch some crawfish in Washington. I Live in Issaquah, WA. I can't seem to find any Lake or river that has some and hoping to find someone who knows of a hot spot. Odd request I know, but my four year old loves catching them at Grandma's on the Dechutes.

Years ago, I used to go get them at Mineral Lake (I think that is the name, been twentysome years). On Hwy 7 between Elbe and Morton.

Lake samamish definitely got some crawfish never seen any trap though that I can remember. But I seen some nice pincers while bass fishing from the bank of the samamish slough in summer. And it the lake it self so there in there if that was any help to ya. images/icons/grin.gif

Too bad most of the Deschutes is closed to bait. Crawdad tails are one of my favorites.
As a matter fact I have some in a pail, just change their water, gave them some ice and I'm just itching for an opportunity to put 'em on a hook. Maybe Monday . . .
