I am hoping one of you kind hearted iFishers with an abundance of seasoned firewood might be able to help a guy out... my dad got ripped off by an unscrupulous firewood seller... he paid for seasoned wood and got some of the wettest, greenest wood I have ever seen. It is unfit for burning this year. Not to mention the OVER cubic yard of trash/bark/sawdust/mud/rocks the guy dumped on his driveway with the load of wood. It looked like it must have beeen loaded with a frontloader that dug a bit deep into the woodlot.... but that's another rant..
Anyway... I would like to take him a small load of seasoned wood. He really likes alder because it's easy to split and burns clean. He has an unreasonable dislike for fir so... no fir. I am ready and willing to pay fair market value for mid-season, small quantity wood.
Please let me know if you can help a really nice old guy (dad turns 80 next week!) get through the winter with a little decent firewood.
I have a small 4x8 trailer and would be looking for enough to fill it part way. It's pretty light duty but is adequate. Anywhere from Salem to Hillsboro would be cool.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Rob

The landscape materials place off Hyw 213 at about LeLand rd. south of Oregon city sells Juniper DRYstored inside for over a year. We like it cause it burns hot and smells niiiice. They'll sell you a 1/4 cord or whatever pricey though.
