Does anyone know if these reels are durable? I heard the drag system go out in them.

I had an Okuma fly reel, the "Integrity" I think and it died after one year. (the drag). A buddy who guides reports the same issue. I'd spend a little more and get something that would last. I have several Ross reels and they are great. Even the Cimmeroon, their "medium" reel, is very durable and the drag is great.

Same thing here, I wore the drag out on what I thought was a good deal on an inexpensive reel. Replaced it with a large arbor battenkill and have not regreted spending the $$ for quality! YMMV
