OK......Remember when my best friend and main fishing buddie was selling his 18ft open sled and I asked for a whole bunch of guys to call him and ask questions, like how big is the windshild, which side is the steering wheel on, etc.....Well that drove him nuts for about a week...............
Well......Its time for some more fun.......I just got an e-mail from him offering signed copies of the picture below for $19.95. He is the one on the kicker......This was taken in the esturary about 2 weeks ago and will be the cover for the 2002 regs..Soooooo, I need about 30 or so people to e-mail my buddie Jeff at JMelberg@Merillat.com requesting autographed copies at $19.95. Ask about the framing special or the laminated copy........ . http://www.ifish.net/uploads/135510261.jpg
O gawd, there will be hell to pay for this one....Actually we are planning a truce for when we set up camp in Tillamook next week, so if I get this in now, I am fairly safe from repercussions till the truce comes off in November, that is if we last that long... Thanks for the help, and send those e-mails now........

Awhile back a friend of mine had about 30 people at a birthday party sign a card to this person that no one there knew. She urged that we all write it to the person as though we knew them, and gave us full creative license on what sorts of things to write. This included reminiscing about times spent together that never happened.
She was going to seal and address the card, and then give it to a friend that was going to be on the other side of the country to mail. Now THAT was a fun one.

Not a bad idea there, springer4you. Let's extend it so that each autographed litho includes an entry in the drawing to get that boat.
It must be true, since I saw the flyer at Fisherman's/G.I. Joe's/Insert name of tackle store here.

Oh I wish we could do that......The boat in the picture is not his, it is Craigs (he's on the net).Believe it or not, I think he just sold his 1998 18ft sled that we had all the fun with this spring. It has taken forever....... Anyway....we do have some great prizes for tomorrow's Steelheaders meeting.....

One of the best things for fun that I've ever done was, kidnap one of those yard ornament gnomes. After kidnapping said gnome, take him places and take pictures. After scanning the pictures, Microsoft has several programs out there where you can design your own postcards, etc.
Well in said example, we kidnapped gnome, we consumed mass quantities of adult beverage and stacked a beer pyramid down by the beach in Panama City. We had one of our lady "friends" lie down in an exhausted, semi-nude position next to the gnome and beer pyramid. We stuck what looks like a joint images/icons/wink.gif in the gnomes mouth, put shades on him, and condom wrappers were laid about.
After scanning the photos, I created a nice postcard that said, "The islands call..WISH YOU WERE HERE" Then we proceeded to mail postcard to owner of the gnome.
We could only imagine the owner's look. images/icons/cool.gif images/icons/grin.gif
....Now that's fun.

Just sent my email. Now, how much return junk mail is your friend going to be sending back in return for this little prank? I can't wait to see how many junk mails will soon be coming all of our way images/icons/wink.gif Hope this helps your cause. I'm very fond of pulling pranks on friends. It cracks me up every time driving home from a long day of fishing, watching the drool start to run as my partners start to nod off to sleep, then scaring the s**t out of them by yelling really loud and hammering the brakes real quickly. The looks on their faces is priceless every time. images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Hello, word has it that there may be an opportunity to recieve "autographed" copies of the cover of Oregon Sport fishing regs this coming year. Being a big fan (never fail to buy at least one copy a year), I simply cant pass up the opportunity to have this displayed in my home to show my support for the book and all it represents. I also understand that the gentlemen on that beautiful alumaweld are some pretty famous NW pro's. Cant wait for the details, and at 19.95 (thats what I heard, can you confirm?) cant wait to get it here. Is there availability and option to purchase more than one? Please let me know about credit card information and your method of payment processing.
Thank you in advance,
John ********

O gawd, my guts hurt from laughing. Just got off the phone with my buddie (jeff) and Roy (BOE), conferance call........ It seems that Jeff saved a picture I sent him a few months ago where I was giving him a "one finger salute" and since he did not have any signed pictures to send out, being the kind hearted person he is, he sent everyone who sent him an e-mail a response with my picture as an attachment. My sincere apologies to those who received my picture.
This is all great fun.......Thanks to all those who took the time to send him an e-mail.....MY guts still hurt from laughing so hard......Last time I laughed so hard with him, we had 4 chrome nookers in the bottom of my drift boat (its a clack-a-craft) and he was telling me what a piece of shi% it is and that I should just burn it.......He floats in a willie... oh well....thanks again to all the got involved in my prank.....

OMG, I just checked my mail. Let's just say, the pic I got was worse than the one finger salute. How could you do such a thing, fishbait? I mean you should have drew the line after getting up on the table. images/icons/shocked.gif I just can't subject the fine folks of ifish to anymore description. I deleted the email after seeing that pic. images/icons/blush.gif

So what if he doesn't own the boat. That makes the raffle that much better.
