Be there! The TV Chapter will resume their monthly meetings this Thursday! Our featured speaker will be none other than RT!!!! Come and meet such ifish celebrities as Get Bit ,Rauly ,fishbait and of course your humble servant BIGSTEW! We meet at the Amercian Legion Hall in Hillsboro at 7:30pm. Thanks to Steve S. we have some of the best raffles for great door prizes anywhere!

BIGSTEW you did let RT know that since he is the guest speaker and he is being compensated royaly, he is responsible for the sodas for everyone. RT we expect about 85 people so 4 or 5 cases should be enough. NO DIET!! images/icons/wink.gif Chips and dip would be nice too. Hope to see everyone there! images/icons/grin.gif

Ya, the first meeting of the new season will be fun - I'm bringing a cold keg of Michelob for the 7 to 7:30 social half hour. Then nobody will know or even care what I'm talking about later. images/icons/grin.gif ... Naaaah, maybe sodas; if someone else brings them. I don't do shopping. >>>

With many other speakers I've listened to in these and other venue fishing meetings, including when Jennie and I were guest speakers, people sit up at the front and do what amounts to a prepared talk. Not me. No notes. Plan on this being interactive also! And a bit different - just for the fun of it, I will be speaking from behind you at the back of the room while you continue to face forward images/icons/wink.gif . ... Nah. >>>

I plan on 2 main topics: 1 - Unlocking the jaws of silvers in rivers. 2 - "Everything you ever wanted to know about egg curing and were afraid to ask". images/icons/smile.gif Or not afraid to ask but couldn't get the answers for. Just plan on giving up some of your guy's 'stuff' too! Here that Salveson? Anderson? Stew? Oh ya, you don't know anything Shane - nevermind images/icons/grin.gif . ... Gonna be fun and informative. Oh yeah I forgot to tell everyone that RT will not only be giving out egg cure info. he will also be handing out 1lb samples of his HUGE eggs stash......NOT. Seriously though the Steelheaders are a conservation organization dedicated to the enhancement and restoration of wild fish runs and habitat. Come join us on Thursday and see if RT does his tribute to the Village People. He has all their albums ya know.

Hey 'Bait, I can always upgrade the speaker bit by telling 'meathole' stories. images/icons/grin.gif The Hall is on Main St., just a couple blocks or so south of 1st street (which runs along the south side of the courthouse area). It is a medium sized older building and will have a bunch of farmer like looking trucks in the parking lot images/icons/wink.gif. Nah, but lots of fishing trucks. >>>

Someone asked if you have to be a member to attend. No. Anyone is welcome to attend any of the NW Steelheader's chapter meetings. We hope that you will like what you experience and what this organization does for fishing enhancement projects and so forth, and will want to join for the $25 per year membership dues. A bargain!

The hall is on the North side of Main Street, 2-3 blocks WEST of first street (Courthouse is at First and Main) Social time starts at 6:30-6:45. meeting proper starts at 7:30

Beer and a OK speaker all on the same night WOW !Hey where is that Legion Hall? I usually miss most events becuase of kids,work or just out there fishing.
Have been wanting to join for a long time but life always gets in the way. Been to a few Steelheader meetings. Memebership for single is 25$ right? and how much for a Blended Family? We drink Margaritas. Mine Gold and hers Strawberry, Kids do the virgin version. She usually goes fishing but might have to sit his function out due to the sore arm from fighting chinook and sore ankle from the rocking boat. So directions please or an address if you would like another spectater to listen to the ok speaker and happy hour which ever one that is, lets hope you dont ever have a sad hour.
