I have a new boat with Vortex 8.1 lost 3 push rods at 46hrs. They are covered under warrent.
Is any one running the 8.1??
And are you having a problem??

3 push rods at once is rare, if they only replace them and call it good i would be worried, somthing is causing it to happen, i would make sure they check the rocker arms for signs of binding and also check the push rods that broke for signs of rubbing on the guide plates. are you sure it was the push rods and not the rocker arms ??, bb chev rockers are a common problem.
