Ok, so I was supposed to the bench on the White Salmon, but I was talked out of it by wife, as only a wife can images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif
Well, it' not thumbs up for me, but the Salmon is PACKED with fish. They are moving with the tides, not really stacked up in the holes, except for on up at the Red Barn and the Bray hole, where the boats have been doing quite well. Many of the bankie fish are coming from right below the 101 bridge which is kind of a new thing.
There was more action yesterday than I've seen all year. With all those fish, of course, comes the true "dregs of society". Why people feel it is necessary to drink to point of falling down, and start and end every phrase with F**K'in A!!! is beyond me. There were two couples sitting next to me, with two small kids, who were trying to enjoy themselves on a GORGEOUS day on the coast, and had to listen to nonstop garbage from some ex-cons and general white trash. I had neither the guts nor the firepower to say anything to the trash, except I did apologize to the people in a loud voice for "All the horrendous, loudmouth, trash-talking drunks" on the bank.
Once had a nice boat...gonna have to ask my wife again exactly why I got rid of it??
