I have made these for years, and always a highly requested family dessert. It is really easy to make and never lasts very long.I don't think it is low-fat.The ingredients are one Jello instant vanilla pudding (the bigger box,3oz?) that go for $1 or so,16 oz of whipping cream, five tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla, one banana, two cups milk and a pie crust. I make a baked pastry crust and let cool.I have also used the pre- made ones from Nabisco in the graham cracker and the nilla- vanilla wafer one is good too if you are in a real hurry.Whip the milk and the pudding mix together for a minute or so and let sit. In another bowl, whip the cream.Add the sugar and vanilla.I like the 5 tablespoons, but you could use less to your taste.Mix half of the whipped cream into the pudding mix and spoon into your cooled pastry.Slice up your banana and push slices carefully into your pudding mix.I do this so my banana doesn't get bruised.Spoon on remaining whipped cream and spread evenly over top.You could put vanilla wafers on top too.Or omit the bananas and use coconut.Another variation is to use chocolate pudding and put chocolate sprinkles on top(less bananas) very good also.So good and so easy.If anybody tries this please post your comments good or bad.
