my boats big fish

I have been up working astoria since june and what a year it has been. lots of limits of keeper sturgeon and a whole lot of salmon. I lost count after 237 fish to the boat. I am going to stay another week or so then move my way down the coast in pursuit of the big fall fish. most likely I will work the siltez for a couple of weeks then move up to tillamook. It will sure be nice to get off of that big water in Astoria and give my spine a rest. I am at least 2 inches shorter than when I went up there in june. Anyway I thought I would post the big fish for the "Bite Me" boat it was caught by one of my clients Tye Steinbock on aug 25 the weekend before the closure for chinook above the bridge on the wash side. It measured 41 inches and weighed 42 lbs and was a upriver bright. Pictured is Tye's son Kyle with a armful of fish.
