Any one been fishing the Puyallup?I went and fished the Pullayup river three days in a row. And I tried just about every technique to tempt one of those returning chinook and not a single bite. I tried eggs, spinners, flies, spin an glows, corkies there is only like a couple techniques left for me to try. Either jig under a bobber,Plunking a Kwikfish wrap,or a cut plug herring. I think its so hard to get a bite because of the angling pressure but im not sure. Any advice would help

I fished the Carbon last Sunday. I drive over the Puyallup everyday on 512. Looks like it's going to have to do the impossible to make it fishable. It needs to come up some and it needs to clear up. These 2 things almost never happen on this river at the same time.
From what I hear the rivers are so low that it was a pretty slow opener on the Carbon. Not many fish stacked up in the meathole yet.
I live about 15 minutes from the Carbon and not much further to the Puyallup. I always look forward to fishing these rivers, not holding my breath this year.
I did hear that about half the fish caught on the Carbon opener were silvers.
BTW, on Sunday I caught a small humpy and a jack silver.
