A couple of good jigs to try for Coho is a silver blue/white jig or plain white. The silver blue & white jig looks really neat in the water. I also like to use a beaded pink/white jig. If you would like a sample jig to try just drop me an e-mail.

Mark.....thanks for the blue/white coho test jigs. They look great. If they work as well as your others do they may revolutionize fishing for silvers. Imagine, no gooey eggs.

Good luck fishing for Coho using the jigs. I've been experimenting using schlappen feathers combined with saddle hackle and the results have been amazing. The jigs look completely different from anything out there.

At Fisherman's Depot in Woodland, they indicated their favorites were:
1) Black (and\or Black/Purple)
2) Red & White
The comment was, "I really don't why we even sell these other colors!"
From the responses, other colors obviously work.

Light blue/white marabou has definitly been a favorite, as has egg imitator colors such as light pink, orange, red and combinations of those colors. Have done well on black for chinook.
