My Brother in Law and friend Brad Kilmer moved on to a bigger and better fishing spot today (11/11/2007) after an all too short battle with thyroid cancer.
Brad was a die hard fisherman, a great father to his two children, and loyal husband to my sister Lisa. He was also an Air Force Veteran.
The photo below was from one of his last trips on the water last month. On this day he caught a fish on his last cast - a nice smallmouth Bass on the Wisconsin River. I was honored that he wanted to go out fishing with me in what we both knew was one of his last days.
Brad, we will miss you. I hope you can rest easy now.
