I as have just looked over my shoulder I can see my 70th birthday in full retreat and, of course, with that comes some problems. I recently purchased a new NR 21.5 NR Commander with a 350 Chevy and and 212 Hamilton pump. It works well and we love it. However, getting it back on the trailer is proving to be a bit problematical. Thinking that an electric winch on the trailer might just be the way to go. Where would one go in the greater Portland, Oregon area to have this kind of work done? Do you have recommendations on this kind of rig. Have already run a search but not too much there that meets my needs. Thanks in advance for all your comments and suggestions.

Power Winch makes what you are looking for. They range from 480-790 depending on capacity. Most dealers including us could help you. You may have to have someone else wire the tow rig. It is easy to do if you are mechanically inclined, the winch is designed to bolt in place of the old one.

I'd look at the PowerWinch RC23. It has wireless remote, built in light, and the emergency handle stows in winch cover.

Steven's could put it on your trailer, UHaul or another trailer place could wire the power to your trailer connector if needed.

You'll never get wet again.

I started a thread on the Salty Dog forum inquiring about using electric winches. I got a number of helpful replies. It was maybe last month. Suggest you do a search of the Salty Dog forum

Maybe I missed something in the original post, but why would you need an electric winch?A beautiful boat like that you just drive it up the trailer?
