Boat heater malfunction

My Koffler rower's heater is not lighting the daisy part of the heater.

The element is free flowing gas in a uniform flame not lighting before mentioned daisy face. Any advice??

I'm set for a three day float on the Deschutes and would like to have heaters

The small holes in the ceramic diffuser (daisy part) are plugged up, clean it up and blow out with compressed air and it should be fine... If not its your pressure regulator on your tank . That will be the case only if you have a separate tank for each heater... Hope this gives you some help... Barney

It could be the air intake is clogged. Moths love to crawl in air intake tubes. Try blowing that out too.
