Fall fish are definitely not as eager biters as springers. Most of this is due to water temperature.

Most fall fish will be found in deeper water than spring fish. I don't usually fish any deeper than 25 feet for springers, while I don't usually fish anything shallower than 35 feet for fall fish on the Columbia, usually 35 feet deep or deeper.

Will spin & Glos work? I don't know as I've never tried them. Most fall fish on the Columbia are caught on wobblers of some sort, spinners, and flatfish or kwickfish.

Hi Rob...Of course the best bet is to give it a try. images/icons/wink.gif I've seen fish banked at Frenchman's Bar on spin glos...although I couldn't tell you if they were "00" ones or not. Where's my Bobber is correct...at Frenchman's...there's a pretty steep drop-off close in to the beach...so if you "harf" one out there pretty good...you should be fishing in 30-35 feet of water. Hopefully...we'll hear from some plunkers here to help clue you in. Successful plunkers.....HELP US OUT HERE...WOULDYA??
