Everybody has their favorite time...but I prefer from about the last week of September thru the middle or so of November.

I usually fished the bubble area in early Sept then would gradually move inside as the fish would be pushing up into the mouths of the rivers. The month of October has been my most productive month fishing around the west channel and coast guard hole. The ghost hole can be real hot but there can be large crowds to deal with.

What is the best time to start fishing the bay for salmon. I understand the bar will be open this weekend but I have a smaller boat I would stay more in the bay. Thanks.
