Oh it's always "interesting" behind the bowling alley images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Think I'll just see if they will get in the boat before they get that far!!

I dont think the opener will be all that is expected come Sept 1st.

I spent an hour this morning just above the bridge on the clackamas checking out the fishing. (Yes I know you cannot retain coho in the Clackamas or Willamette until 9/1, I was um, ah, steelhead fishing, thats it, steelhead fishing images/icons/rolleyes.gif )

Three guys there this morning throwing spinners with oversized treble hooks, and 2 guys tossing corkies and/or eggs (I was one of the corky and/or egg tosser). 5 of us in all and I never saw a fish jump, roll or cross the riffle in an hour. I got there right at daylight. It appeared the hole was void of any fish. images/icons/confused.gif images/icons/confused.gif

I had to go check it out since come Saturday it will be to crowded for me.

Maybe I needed a longer leader. ??? images/icons/frown.gif
