The wife and I played hooky today. Hit the river about 11:30 for a 12:47 high tide. Finally got decent flow about 2 pm. Four chinook in the boat by 5:30.

Hell, I even got to land a couple of them. I was beginning to think the only reason I went fishing was to drive the boat and net my wife's fish. images/icons/rolleyes.gif
Can't wait til next weekend.

Nice going Bill!!! images/icons/grin.gif The weekend can't come soon enough. images/icons/cool.gif
Bill, hope you had the good sense to get all the newness out of your boat by smearing blood all over the seats and floor! I'm envious ... haven't limited my boat in far too long.

Wow! What an afternoon!
Would you mind sharing the rigging set-up that produced so well?
Thanks, we'll be hitting it for an afternoon or two this week and then post our results.

The hot setup was a silver Alvin with a quarter sized spot of iridescent green lure tape on the lower half of each side. Took off the siwash hook and replaced with a 2/0 treble. A couple of boats were doing well with half silver/half gold alvins.
Five foot dropper, 3 foot leader. No scent, just a spray of wd-40. Keep it deep. 50'.

Nice limit. Way to go! Just the kind on cooler problems we all need.
