Birthday Today!

Spent My birthday down at hammond today. Had a great time unfortunately we didn't get
our limit, not for lack of bites. We just couldn't get the hooks in them today for
whatever reason. I did mange a nice 15#, and 10# Silver and also released a nice
nate. My partner who's birthday is also today, was the hot rod as far as bites go
must of had 15 takedowns and only one in the boat. Oh well that is how it goes, it
was a great day and I even managed to drop my rod in the water while fighting my
biggest fish after getting knocked off balance by a boat wake, was either drop the
rod or fall against it. Figured it would fair better in the water and I landed the fish images/icons/smile.gif
We fished till noon and headed home, will be back tomorrow, need to get a few
more fish to get practice with the new vacuum pack machine my beautiful girlfriend
bought me. Well off to bed to get an early start again tomorrow for Hammond. See you all down there. images/icons/smile.gif

I get to spend my birthday, Friday, with my best friend/wife/fishing partner doing the "Sekiu thing" for 10 days!!!!!!

THE best way to spend a b-day. I have a common b-day with co-worker who is an avid fisherman. He always takes the day off to fish. I'm picking up the tradition, he got me into some sturgeon on our last b-day.

Thanks everyone for the B-day wishes. I am getting ready to try out the new Vacumm pack machine on todays catch. We boated 11 and kept our six. Were trying to get the second chinook but my partner got another 15# silver so we quit. Great day down there today limits everywhere.John redemed himself with hooking up with every strike he had today for a total of 8 for him, I was the loser with only hooking up three times and missing three. Oh well win some you loose some. Did see some guys walking across the parking lot with 4 fish each. Hmmmm, maybe a few days early. Also say some terrible fish releasing by a couple local guides. I know these guys know better than that. Thanks again for the birthday wishes and lipripper and Hoochie hope you both have great birthdays also
