Why go conventional, when you can go exceptional? Get in touch with Osprey and get him to customize you guy's a frame for that raft! I think Tanner could also say a thousand words or two.

Osprey's Custom Catarafts - women not included.

Yo V,
If you don't mind running up to Olympia a couple times, e-mail Osprey (from this board). He built my 3 frames for my 16 foot cat and did a real nice job. Another suggestion would be to call TMS Outdoor specialties. He makes custom frames and also does nice work. His number is 503-760-6575. He is located up on SE 118th and Harold.

My brother just purchased a 14' raft and he asked me to see if anyone here has any suggestions for a raft frame manufacturer/supplier in the Portland/Vancouver area. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
V. Green

Are batteries included with this redneck? The last redneck I got didn't work right. Then again, the redneck didn't look right either.

Thanks Again,

V.Green,
I may have for sale just what your brother is looking for. I have a 6 man raft (raft is in fair shape) with a heavy aluminum frame complete with cooler rowers seat, front bench seat, tons of tie down straps, foot pump, repair kit, heavy duty brass oar locks, 8 1/2 foot aluminum oars and dry bag. It sounds like it might be the same size and might fit your brothers raft, I'm asking $300 for it all but would be willing to sell the frame and all the accessories for around $250. Drop me a e-mail at home (look under my profile for my address) if you are interested.

I did this with my cataraft tubes; i.e., I used my whitewater raft frame and adapted it to the pontoons. It worked great! For a total of $300 I now have a 14 ft. 3-man cataraft. A fishkiller for sure!!!

Thumper you did what with a what images/icons/rolleyes.gif (jk)
as long to have an inside rail it will work, you must keep the tubes from twisting and rolling toward the inside.
as long as it gets you down the river safely ....good job.....Os
