I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than fishing with my best friend and hooking into some scrappy Coho.
We'll be at Olson's from Aug. 30 to Sept. 7 and would love to meet some of you "North of the border" fishers.
Saturday will find us looking for those BIG hook-nose unclipped Coho. (Straight out from the Slip Point bouy and Mussolini Rock.) YEEHAWWWWWWW!
Look for the blue 17' Crestliner with blue top and beautiful Blonde! (my wife, not me!)
When the VHF is on, we answer to "bobber boy"
on ch. 68
We're in a 31' Dutchmen Motorhome when in camp.
Got beer?????

I took her canoeing on the black river for our first date. She kind of paused when she saw the camo paint job, but 5 minutes into the trip she was splashing me, so I knew I had her. images/icons/smile.gif
She just doesn't like the big water for some reason. We even went fishing on our honeymoon in Mexico.
I always play the guide, and make sure that she gets into fish, but she just doesn't seem to be able to catch what she calls, "the sickness."
Got the boys hooked already, and had my oldest, 5, at Sekiu a week ago.
Take care, be careful, and have fun. Andy

Hi Hoochie,
I'll be up there on Friday the 31st in time to get out early Saturday morning. VHF is the only thing I DON'T have,...... yet. I'll be on my FRS radio, channel 8.
I'll be in the 18' Seaswirl, blue stripe, grey canvas, Suzuki motors, named "Nepenthe" (No worries). We will be staying at Coho in the tent area. Look for a blue explorer with Yakima racks up top. I'll be the guy in the green hat with a monster hook nose on my line.
We will be there until Sunday afternoon. I'll try to meet up with you.
What a lucky guy. I can't get my wife to go on a fishing vacation with me. I'll keep trying, but let me know your secret so I can use it some time.
Andy
Hoochie is a lucky guy!!! Plus his wife not only likes to fish...she is good!!
Bobber Down....Bobber Boy!!

Ya gotta hold your rod just right and you'll keep 'em fishing with you. Letting them hook and keep bigger fish than you helps, too!
Our first date 15 years ago was at Bouy 10 and she's been fishing with me ever since.
Probably gotta thank her dad for starting her out when she was young. But mostly we both love being on the water and it's kept us together by doing something we enjoy together.
Can't think of anyone I'd rather fish with. That makes me pretty lucky.
I get to fish and sleep with my best friend.

Don't have a vhf yet. But if I can make it out that way I will be in the little open top 14.5 ft white moocher style boat no windshield. Motors are a 4.5 Evinrude and a 25 hp Mariner also have a steering wheel in the front for running. If its windy I will be river fishing instead. Looks like my days off are going to be mon-wed. Will fish out of Coho unless extreme low tides. Live in Port Angeles so I just drive out for the day.
Will look for you if I am out that way since I like the slip point area too.
