Sandy or Clackamas Coho

Okay. Who is counting the days to September 1st? Who will be scouting this week to see where they are rolling? Anyone want to post what they are seeing?

i was up at bonnie lure fly fishing yesterday and got two reports. one guy in a kayak said he'd been fishing the mouth of the clackamas and nothing is rolling there yet. talked to another guy in the parking lot who said he'd landed and released a silver on the lower sandy. you know where i'll be next weekend.

Watch for my post in about a week or so. I've gotten reports they're in the Clack already, tho numbers will increase in the next couple of weeks. Look for them to be rolling in the deep "frog" water holes, or off Meldrum Bar. images/icons/grin.gif

Went to the mouth of the Clack yesterday to check it out. Nothing rolling yet. They are probably 1-2 weeks out yet.

I know of 4 coho caught and released above high rocks on Friday. A few weeks ago another friend of mine caught two coho throwing spinners at the mouth of the Sandy. They are already here.
