FEAR NO FISH!

Last night I set the hook on my girlfriend of six years. She agreed to become my fishing widow. That was part of the pre-nups!
She has always let me fish anywhere at anytime! Can't ask for much more than that.
She even agreed to be registered at Critters Sporting goods. I can see a lot more GLoomis rods coming my way! images/icons/grin.gif

Congrats. I'm in my rookie year and it's great!! Mine actually wants me to go fishing and hunting as long as I bring home the beef (so to speak).

Congrats,
If I had it to do over again I'd put the rolling pin with air bag deployment on the list. Count your blessings.
Maybe I'll see ya out there...

Congrats, but.........You're missing out on a great opportunity. If you love your wives/girlfriends/significants and you love fishing, why not put the two together? It's really great fishing with your best friend and no fishing widow to feel guilty about at home. The only tough part is if you teach well they will outfish you EVERY time. It is humbling at times, but after 13+ years, more than worth it!
Have a Great Day! Tight Lines

Congrats!!!
Wife and I celebrated 7 earlier this summer.
When you go out fishing without her it's such a good feeling driving home when you're cold and wet knowing that there's a warm house and warm bed to go home to. (warm meal hopefully too LOL images/icons/grin.gif )
Wife goes quite often with me if the weather's decent.
She hadn't done much river fishing with me up to this point but friday she caught her first salmon. About an 8lb chum(had to throw that one back) then about an hour later she caught about a 6lb silver. All this on a 6' trout pole, mind you.
Then saturday she caught a couple more.
Good thing she kept taking the kid to go to the bathroom or she'd have whooped me on the final count. LOL
She now claims she's hooked on fishing and understands why I live for this time of year.
I guess the real test as to wether she's hooked or not is when the weather turns nasty if she goes or not.
She already said she's going again this friday with a buddy and me.
Get her out there fishing with you. We make it a family event, Besides it's a lot easier to get that kitchen pass if the boss is wanting to go too!!! images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Congrats Buddy, My wife and I will celibrate 10 years friday. I did much better the 2nd time this one hunts and fishes. Will there be a ceremony on the water at Wind River next spring?
What a great idea...the ceremony on the Wind! If anything transpires that way my boat is available for the dance floor!! Or for anything else that is needed!

Thank you everybody. We are going to
be married on a tour boat that holds
20 people. It leaves Richland and goes
up to White Bluffs in the Hanford
Reach. We are going to do our vows
Sept. 29th at the foot of White
Bluffs. We might even do some Salmon
fishing while we're up there. Could
you imagine the wall of death we could
put up with 20 rods out? images/icons/shocked.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif

I had wanted to charter it up the Snake to go to Lower Monumental Dam. That is where I put my dads ashes. The problem was that it would have been a 5 hour trip one way!
