I have a 1999 Yamaha 40 MSHX that misses at WOT and on the hole shot. I have replaced the needle assembly's and the two jets on the carbs, and checked the fuel filter after checking the carbs and finding fuel deposits and a sticky float. It did'nt work. The motor will take of out of the hole without missing if I ease into the throttle but start missing if given to much throttle. On the top end it misses again with to much throttle, I can back of it and the miss quits though. It never dies and has a very smooth idle for a 2-stroke. Any ideas, feul pump, electrical? The motor did see many years sitting on a life raft without use before I bought it. Jay
