How To Turn Trout into~Poor Boy Lobster in 3-minutes.
Wrap small to medium size cleaned headless trout in 3 paper towels. Wet the paper towels and place on a plate and put it into microwave for 1-3 minutes depending on trout size and Microwave setting. Put 1/4 of a stick of butter in bowl and put in microwave 25-30 seconds. Peel back skin and pull off boneless pieces, dip in butter. Wow! is that a treat.
Do that for your wife and she will say for sure you are not without skills....Chuckle

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give that a try as I don't really like trout all that much. A little garlic in that butter and I am thinking that will be good eats.

Great...It doesn't even taste like trout. It taste like buttered dipped lobster.

I'm thinking about cooking some trout paddies cooked like salmon patties.

Wow!....Glad you became a believer as it works great and a fast meal..

I like keeping the smaller fish around a pound and let my buddies keep the big ones. If I keep a big one I filet it and just cook one side filet for a nice poor-Boy Lobster meal...mmmmmmm..Good

Ppppssss, don't tell anybody:yay:
