If you have not done this, do it. Last night I was feeling the need for a mexican flavored dish. The wife had just purchased some good quality mild salsa and it got me to thinking. Wonder how this would work as a marinade for TUNA. Let me tell ya, IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS!!!! :hearton: I could not stop eating the tuna it was soooooooooooooooooo good.

Emerald Valley Organic Salsa, mild version, purchased at Winco was the victim of choice. Marinaded for 1 hour and then BBQ over traditional briquets. OMG it was great. Little bits of onion, tomato, peppers all stuck to the sides and top of the tuna. Served that with some Mexican rice and a salad and .............................................. all you hear is mmmmmmmmmmm.........and the sound of a fork hitting the plate for another bite.

Give this a go. You will not be disappointed.

Hey Bernie, sounds terrific! I canned some TUNA! with salsa in it for flavor and it was really good. Dunno why I didn't think about using salsa as a marinade for fresh grilled TUNA!
