Cooked up some Sturgeon today. Never had it before and thought I would do something really easy with it. Well it turned out beautifully.:food:

Cut Sturgeon strips 1" wide and 4" long.
Enough Panko mixed with 2-3 tsp of Lemon Pepper (or to taste).

Just followed the direction on the Panko box,
Roll fish in flour, Dip in beaten egg, Cover generously in Panko and deep fry until golden brown.

Oh my, I was stunned how well it turned out. Even think I like it better than Halibut.

I found Panko at the United Grocers warehouse for about $4.00 for a big bag. I think it is about 3 lbs, its a great deal.

It's great stuff...

Ever use "Pride of the West" ? It' usually near the seafood counter in all supermarkets. It's in a small yellow flour sack bag. Use it and some beer to make a batter and your sturgeon and dinner guests will thank you!!

Try cooking in black bean and garlic paste, with a little hoisin sauce and white wine. OOhh LA LA
